I love less conventional wedding gowns, and this one is no exception! Thanks for including a full length shot!
Being Canadian I know very little about the western States and their customs, so I loved the description of you BIL! He's a hoot!

If you can tell us, where was the wedding? The background photos are so beautiful.

Your BIL sounds like a great sport. Looking forward to hearing about your trip to Habu...

i've yet to know a native texan who can hack a well-done steak. poor boy! and i loved the story about the handgun license. it probably doesn't even get a second look in texas, lol.

my husband tried to quit smoking last summer, which is as pernicious a habit as chewing, and he actually had to take it up again when he had his foot surgery (for a while we thought he was going to have to take me down the aisle with a velcro boot!), or he would have lost his mind. stress will do that to ya, but bully for him if he's trying to quit!

HOORAY FOR TEXAS!

That dress is really beautiful! Also, I've been to Big Bend twice, it really is one of the most-worth visiting national parks - really amazing scenery.

loved reading this! Besides being both laugh-out-loud funny and lip-quirking witty, it made me think of all the amazing and diverse people that have joined my family, who I never would have met or known otherwise.
