yum! delicatas are our new favorite thing from the farmers market. they're also great brushed with olive oil and thrown on the grill - any leftovers are great cold for lunch the next day.

As much as I miss my beloved summer, there is something to be said for cozy food, knitting, loved ones, and a good fire in the fireplace. Thank you for reminding us to make time to enjoy the sweet things.

The warmth, coziness and comfort of good company came through beautifully in your words. Thanks for sharing the evening with us.

Comfort food, yarn, and cool weather--I am very envious of your bounty as I swelter in highs of 85!

Amen to that. I'm feeling exactly the same way: gather those you love, get some good comfort food, some yarn, some books, the dog and cat, and turn the fireplace on. Life doesn't get any better than that.

YUM! Sounds like quite the feast. But, please tell me, how did you cut into those delicatas? I picked up one on Fresh Direct and had a hell of a time cutting it open. I almost broke out my little saw from my tool kit--that sucker was tough.
