Dear Sarah,
I’m so, so sorry to hear about your loss. My mum and I were just talking this morning about today being the 30th anniversary of my grandmother’s (mum’s mum) death. 30 years and my mum got choked up. Loss is loss, whether 30 years ago or just recently. It becomes a room mate you never wanted but learn to live with. But as EZ said “knit on…” my friend. Your mittens are beautiful and I’d love to be on the receiving end of that FLS. I pray you and your family have a peaceful holiday.

Sarah, I hope everything is OK. I’m sorry to hear that it’s been a bad week and that there has been a loss…. You’re in my thoughts. In the meantime, the knitting looks beautiful. The recipients of both the FLS and the mitts are lucky people indeed.
